You just knew this day would come – sooner or later. The gay lobby and its adjoining groups, in their quest to be a relevant part of our society, has been pushing for equality in many different ways, be it gay marriage, benefits for their partners – you name it, I am sure they’ve pushed for it.
And the Obama administration, in their quest to be all things to all people, gave in to the gay brigade as he is expected on Wednesday (today) to announce (if he already hasn’t done so already) that benefits will be extended to same-sex partners of federal employees. This terrible decision is without a doubt lip service to appease the gay crowd in response to the President not ending the ban on openly gay men and women in the military.
Here’s what the gay federal employees expect to get, benefit-wise:
- Diplomatic passports
- Language training
There are others that may be added, including pensions.
Personally, I think those of you who know me well know how I feel about homosexuality. But for those of you who don’t, this is my take. It is an abomination before God and it is unhealthy behavior; impressionable children who witness such acts and individuals may get more confused than they already are. It is a lifestyle that I do not condone; that is a statement that I am certain that fellow conservatives, including myself, share.
Also, these “same-sex” partnerships (marriages, specifically) should be repealed. they have no place in our society, where the word and law of God is paramount. In Europe, behavior such as this is the norm, rather than the exception. The Europeans advocate this type of behavior, calling themselves “enlightened”. In the Middle East, God forbid if you’re gay. If I remember correctly, homosexuality’s punishment there is death. I may be wrong on that, but I think that’s the rule there.
Nonetheless, I do not see any justification or valid reason whatsoever to extend benefits – public or private sector combined – to homosexual partners. They do not deserve “preferential” treatment because of their sick, twisted lifestyle choice.
Personally, I think they should be given a choice of either living like the rest of us normal folks here in the U.S. (meaning no same-sex benefits) or they should be given a one-way, irrevocable ticket to a country of their choosing – never to return. There’s no need for these homosexuals to force their lifestyle on the rest of us. You chose this lifestyle, now deal with the life consequences that come with your lifestyle.
