Dear White Liberal America
By Lloyd Marcus
August 25, 2009

Thank you very, very much. You see us poor helpless inferior blacks (oh forgive me, I must be politically correct, “African Americans”), and you want to help us using your superior intellect. After all, we could not possibly succeed in this racist, homophobic and greedy country without your assistance.

I first met you guys in the 70s when I attended the prestigious Maryland Institute College of Art on a scholarship. A black kid from the ghetto, I found myself amongst white kids from well to do families. I worked a part-time job to cover my books and art supplies. You guys did not have to work.

And yet, I remember many conversations about how you would never bring a child into this “freaking world” and how “freaking screwed up” this “freaking country is”. You told me how “freaking selfish” your “freaking parents” were and how they only cared about “freaking money”. Then, you drove off in your convertible given to you be your “freaking parents” as I stood at the bus stop.

I can not thank you enough for the numerous times you shared your expensive premmo weed with me. While I enjoyed the free weed (of which I’ve long ceased to indulge) and rebellious chicks, in all honesty, I could not figure out what you were so p-o-ed about.

So, now you former hippie boomers are in total control of government, colleges and public schools, still selling your Utopian message of peace and love. Thanks for getting rid of black dads in the home via your welfare programs. I mean, everyone knows dads are cruel chauvinists who beat and molest their kids.

Oh, and thanks for encouraging schools to accept black kids speaking Ebonics rather than English. It would be racist to expect us simple minded colored folks to learn to speak English correctly. And besides, we don’t want our black kids sounding too white. Authentic blacks must sound like the hood, love rap and Kentucky Fried. I would never trust any black that eats “sushi”; which is probably what those traitors, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas eat. If Justice Thomas would have answered his phone with a “Whats up!” and a heartfelt “A-muri-ka sucks”, the NAACP would have championed him as a true brother faithful to his blackness. Sadly, Rice and “Uncle Thomas” as we call him, chose the character, education and hard work route to success. How disgusting!

Yes, you libs are soooo good to us. I really appreciate “b” actresses like Janeane Garofalo putting that Uncle Tom, RNC Chairman, Michael Steele in his place when she said he suffered from Stockholm Syndrome. How dare he not view himself as a victim of white America. How dare he empower young blacks with the knowledge that they can achieve without liberal intervention. What an ungrateful, well, you know the word I’m thinking. It begins with an “N”.

In closing, you libs, please keep up the good work. With your continued diligence, we minorities and most Americans will not have to work or be responsible for anything. Your president is in the process of confiscating the wealth from those greedy rich white SOBs and redistributing it to us poor, undeprivilaged, stupid Balck Folks. Right on!

Now, if I can just figure out how to tie my shoes all by myself. But if I can’t, I know you libs are there for me. Fighting back tears of overwhelming gratitude, again, I thank you.

Cordially yours, you Whilte Liberal Devils,

Lloyd Marcus

I think it is well established that the Lockerbie bombing claimed 270 lives over the country of Scotland; it is also well-known that of that number, there were a substantial number of American lives lost on that fateful flight.

That time has passed us by; however, what wasn’t known until very recently was the rationale for the release from a Scottish prison one Abdul Baset Ali al-Meghari. Well folks, it looks like that the United Kingdom’s Justice Secretary was not the sole individual who approved al-Meghari’s release, after all.

Specifically, a source close to Justice Secretary Jack Straw has indicated that the move to include al-Meghari in a prisoner transfer agreement back in 2007 was a decision made solely by the British government. In other words, Prime Minister Gordon Brown signed off on the agreement, with the source adding:

“It wasn’t just Jack who decided this. It was a Government decision. Jack did not act unilaterally.”

Ok, ok, ok. I think that this is an instance where al-Meghari is not going to return to Scotland. Having said that, I think the important question here is: Exactly why did the U.K. (Scotland in this instance) approve al-Meghari’s release?  Some possibilities include:

  • Compassion. Hmmm. Let me understand this correctly. Because a known terrorist allegedly has a terminal disease while in prison, he automatically gets a pass here? I know that here in the United States, if you’re a prisoner who is terminally ill, you’ll get treated for the condition, but at the same time, you’ll serve out the reminder of your sentence.
  • Assisting Libya in granting them relevancy. This may be more plausible. Yet at the same time, what other way to allow a country/terrorist organization to become legitimate again than to throw in incentives? I seriously tend to doubt that the U.K. was able to extract promises from Libya, assuring that they would be “above-board” in relation to their future conduct.
  • An oil deal between the U.K. and Libya. According to U.K. government insiders, the prisoner transfer deal did not include any provisions in reference to a 16 billion (British pounds) oil and gas exploration deal with Libya. I’m not going to say that this is the main reason for al-Meghari’s release, but it seems to me that any time that two nations negotiate in reference to a prisoner transfer, there is usually some form of financial incentive.

What is rather curious about this transfer above all else is that according to Straw, Scotland would have the right to veto any application under a prisoner transfer agreement, including al-Meghari. So what comes to mind on this alone is what role, if any, did Scotland play in al-Meghari’s release?

I do suspect that this “deal” will most certainly strain relations between the U.K. and U.S. as of the 270+ passengers on that flight over Lockerbie, Scotland, a good number of them were American citizens. So really, it is no wonder that Brown isn’t exactly popular in the U.K. at the moment.

USS Obama Sinking Slowly

The gift that keeps on giving. The “O”. The Messiah. These are terms that have been attributed to President Obama. But if the most recent poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports is any indication, he may need to add another name to that short list: Mr. Unpopular.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 30% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -11.

Twenty-nine percent (29%) are confident that Congress knows what it’s doing when it comes to the economy. If Americans could vote to keep or replace the entire Congress, 57% would throw out all the legislators and start over again. Just 25% would vote to keep the Congress.

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve.

Overall, 46% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. That’s the lowest level of total approval yet measured for Obama. Fifty-three percent (53%) now disapprove. Eighty-one percent (81%) of Democrats approve while 83% of Republicans disapprove. As for those not affiliated with either major party, 66% disapprove. See other recent demographic highlights from the tracking polls.

It is important to remember that the Rasmussen Reports job approval ratings are based upon a sample of likely voters. Some other firms base their approval ratings on samples of all adults. President Obama’s numbers are always several points higher in a poll of adults rather than likely voters. That’s because some of the President’s most enthusiastic supporters, such as young adults, are less likely to turn out to vote. Other factors are also important to consider when comparing Job Approval ratings from different polling firms.

Daily tracking results are collected via telephone surveys of 500 likely voters per night and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. The margin of sampling error—for the full sample of 1,500 Likely Voters–is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.

Like all polling firms, Rasmussen Reports weights its data to reflect the population at large (see methodology). Among other targets, Rasmussen Reports weights data by political party affiliation using a dynamic weighting process. While partisan affiliation is generally quite stable over time, there are a fair number of people who waver between allegiance to a particular party or independent status. Over the past four years, the number of Democrats in the country has increased while the number of Republicans has decreased.

Our baseline targets are established based upon separate survey interviews with a sample of adults nationwide completed during the preceding three months (a total of 45,000 interviews) and targets are updated monthly. Currently, the baseline targets for the adult population are 38.4% Democrats, 32.7% Republicans, and 28.9% unaffiliated. Likely voter samples typically show a slightly smaller advantage for the Democrats.

Letter to Michael Steele

Chairman Michael Steele
Republican National Committee
310 First Street
Washington, D.C. 20003

August 27, 2009

Chairman Steele,

Having written you several emails and having received no reply of any kind, I am sending you this letter via the bankrupt United States Postal Service in hopes it will have more impact than one of dozens of emails in your inbox.

I was one of the many grassroots, rank-and-file members of the Republican Party that supported your election as Party Chairman. I believed you when you said you were going to listen to the grassroots members of the GOP and lead the Party in a more conservative direction and hopefully bring us together to recapture the Congress in 2010 and the White House in 2012. To date many of my friends, colleagues and I have been sorely disappointed.

Instead of mingling with members like myself and listening to our concerns and points of view, you’ve been hobnobbing with the “elites”, going to press club dinners filled with liberals that mock both you and our party and supporting candidates and RNC members that have appalled the rank-and-file of the Republican Party.

Your endorsement of Governor Charlie Crist for the United States Senate, in the primary, was a slap in the face to most Republicans in Florida. Not only should the NRSC, the RNC and yourself have waited to endorse anyone until the general election. But for you to choose to endorse a Republican who didn’t just take stimulus money, but actually campaigned for it with President Obama was unforgivable. In case you weren’t aware of it, most Republicans were vehemently opposed to the $787 billion plan that has to date stimulated nothing but the wallets of the very people that created the financial crisis and the growth of government. Charlie Crist also ignored our congressional candidates in the 2008 elections and actually supported Democrat Robert Wexler (FL-19) over our candidate Edward Lynch. In addition, if you’ve been reading the news you’d be aware that Governor Crist does not have the support of grassroots Republicans in Florida. The Governor has lost every straw poll that has been held thus far, was censured by the Volusia County REC and avoided censure in the Palm Beach County REC by only one vote. Even those of us that argued against censure had nothing good to say about the governor. When we hold our straw poll in October, here in Palm Beach County, you can be assured Governor Crist will not be the winner.

Your support for Republican Party of Florida Chairman Jim Greer for chairman of the RNC Rules Committee was yet another slap in the face to the members of the Florida GOP. Greer has misused Party funds and told candidates there were no RPOF funds available for campaign materials in the 2008 cycle. Later we found out that there were unused funds in the Party’s account. In addition he has blocked all attempts to audit the RPOF’s books. Chairman Greer also attempted to invoke the obscure RNC Rule 11 to essentially steal the primary from the Party’s voters and conservative candidate Marco Rubio. Only the refusal of RNC Secretary and Florida State Committeewoman Sharon Day prevented this. Jim Greer has tried to paint a rosy picture of the state of the Party in Florida saying, “I don’t think that the Party has anywhere near the problems that some are promoting in the state.” I’d have to argue that the facts on the ground refute that claim. In fact, the chairman has said that he’s given locals too much power and too much of an opportunity to speak out on the issues. He actually had the audacity to say, “What ends up happening as you open this can of worms up, as you create all these avenues for discussion, you also create the avenues for people to cause trouble.” The last time I checked, the First Amendment was still intact even if you’re a member of a political party. If speaking out against a the chairman of the RPOF when he’s engaged in inappropriate, unethical and perhaps even criminal behavior is causing trouble then call me a troublemaker.

Chairman Steele, if you are indeed the man you say you are, if you are for the rank-and-file members of the Republican Party, then I urge you to not only rescind your support for Jim Greer and your endorsement of Charlie Crist, but to get in touch with people like myself and find out for yourself what’s really going on in the grassroots of the GOP, in Florida and around the country.

For most of us, winning doesn’t just mean electing someone because they have an “R” following their name. It means electing people that truly embrace the core principles of our Party, lower taxes, smaller government, more accountable government and strong national defense among others.

I would welcome an opportunity to discuss these matters with you, in person or on the phone. I hope I will receive some reply to this letter, as I still hold out hopes that you are the man I hope you are.

Thank you for your time and attention to these issues and concerns. I look forward to your reply.

Sincerely,
S.R.

Advanced Care Clearing Houses

The Purpose of the advance care planning clearinghouses
By Vincent F. Shapanus

You won’t have to pull the plug on Grandma because before Grandma is sick enough to go on a respirator the government will have had her counseled by Advanced Care Planning Consultants who will be asking her key questions and making considerations for the Health Care Advisory Committee who will determinine how much Grandma is going to cost the Health Care system. They will make the ultimate decision whether an individual lives or die based upon the recommendations of the Advanced Care Planners.

Don’t let the government fool you when they say that President Obama’s health care plan does not incorporate assisted suicide or euthanasia elements into his health care legislation. Section 1233 Advanced Care Planning Consultation of H.R. 3200 America’s Affordable Health Choices Act makes reference to the intend of getting rid of Grandma in Section (D): “..the advance care planning clearinghouses.” The Clearinghouses are to reduce the population of the elderly so the they do not put an economic burden on the Health Care System.

If Grandma gets the thumbs down then the Advanced Care Plannning Consultants will push the assingment of a health care proxy so someone else makes the decision for Grandma. They will then refer her to “the advance care planning clearhouses” as well as the State legal service organizations that regulate laws regarding assisted suicide or euthanasia. The Advanced Care Practioner will coordinate this end of life service for Grandma. What this means in nutshell is that the purpose of the counseling is to determine the economic risk to the Health Care Program. Once this risk is determined then the the Advanced Care Planning Office will make recommendations to the Health Benefits advisory Committee who will inform the individual what the Government will or will not provide to the individual for end of life care. Once they make this determination they will inform the individual of the fact that they will probably have limited to access to basic care and advanced care. Then they will allocate Grandma’s care to the “the advance care planning clearinghouses” which have the sole purpose of reducing the population of individuals who are a cost burden to the government.

Are you going to put your life and death in the hands of a government panel appointed by the President of the United States? Remember that your President supports late term abortion and has advice of John Holdren and Eizekiel Emmanuel who support forced abortion and sterilization for population control and allocating medical resources to the healthy as opposed to the sickly, and a government that promotes the euthanasia of the elderly, disabled, or terminally ill. The only individual’s bearing false witness to what is contained in this legislation is the President and the Liberal Members of Congress who are pushing this legislation. The President has recently invoke Religious Leaders to inform their congregations that this Health Care Reform legislation is in the best interest of the health of America. Don’t be fooled by the Red Persian Carpet the President is trying to pull over the eyes of America. Life and death should be left up to God to decide not the Government. Any religious leader who supports this legislation is doing exactly what the president counsels against and that is bearing false witness to God.

Note: Vincent Shapanus is the Press Secretary, Military Affairs and Foriegn Policy advior for Chris Lewis for Congress in Maryland.

The President of No!

The President of ‘No!’ — Obama’s Record on Health Care:
A Consistent Senate Vote for the Politics of ‘Delay and Defeat’

SENATOR MAX BAUCUS AND SENATOR JON TESTER VOTED NO ON THE FOLLOWING. SENATOR TESTER DID NOT VOTE ON S1955 AT ALL. This information is also helpful at Town hall Meetings, letter writing, e-mails and phone calls. It is proof that there has been a long-range plan to nationalize health care.

Throughout his years in the U.S. Senate, Barack Obama joined Democrats to defeat meaningful health care reform proposals that would have helped to solve many of the problems he now says can only be addressed by a $2-trillion government takeover. A sampling of Sen. Obama’s greatest NAY’s below:

NO on Allowing Americans to Deduct Their Health Care Costs. S. Con. Res. 70 (110th Congress, 2nd Session, Roll Call 82). The Senate rejected an effort to allow for an above-the-line federal income tax deduction for individuals who do not receive health insurance through their employers. The amendment offered by Sen. DeMint (R-SC) failed on March 13, 2008 by a vote of 45-51.

NO on Allowing Americans the Freedom to Purchase Health Insurance Across State Lines. H.R. 976 (110th Congress, 1st Session, Roll Call 305). The Senate rejected an effort to allow Americans to purchase individual health insurance across state lines. The amendment offered by Sen. DeMint (R-SC) failed on August 2, 2007 by a vote of 37-62.

NO on Allowing Americans to Use Their OWN HSA Funds to Cover Health Insurance Premiums. H.R. 2 (110th Congress, 1st Session, Roll Call 26). The Senate rejected an effort to allow Americans to use their tax-free Health Savings Account funds to purchase health insurance. The amendment offered by Sen. Ensign (R-NV) failed on January 25, 2007 by a vote of 47-48.

NO on Preventing the Erosion of Private Health Coverage. S.Amdt. 2537 to S.Amdt. 2530 to H.R. 976 (110th Congress, Session 1, Roll Call 299)The Senate rejected an effort to minimize the erosion of private health coverage. The amendment offered by Sen. Kyl (R-AZ) failed on August 2, 2007 by a vote of 37-62.

NO on Expanding Access to Small Business Health Plans. On Motion to Invoke Cloture on the Committee Amendment (110th Congress, Session 2, Roll Call 119). The Senate rejected an effort to allow for the expansion of health care access and reduced costs through the creation of small business health plans and through modernization of the health insurance marketplace on May 11, 2006 by a vote of 55-32.

NO on Preserving Employer-Sponsored Coverage. S.Amdt. 2596 to S.Amdt. 2530 to H.R. 976 (110th Congress, Session 1, Roll Call 301)The Senate rejected an effort that would require individuals who are eligible for SCHIP and employer-sponsored coverage to use the employer-sponsored coverage instead of SCHIP. The amendment offered by Sen. Vitter (R-LA) failed on August 2, 2007 by a vote of 35-64

Rep. Kratovil and Ag Secretary Vilsack Announce Over $1.23 Million in Stimulus Funding for Rural Water Projects and Community Facilities on Maryland’s Eastern Shore
08/27/09

Rural water project will benefit Kent County while facilities funding will go to fire houses in Cambridge, Parsonsburg, and Wicomico County Fire Police Association.

Date: 8-26-09 – For Immediate Release
Contact: Kevin Lawlor, 202 225 5311

Washington, DC – Rep. Frank Kratovil and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced that $1,231,000 will be made available in funding for both rural water projects and community facilities on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
The rural water funds are part of a total $175.8 million in water and environmental projects that being funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act signed into law last February.

The Projects will help provide safe drinking water and improved wastewater treatment for rural communities. Of the total, $1.1 million will be directed toward Kent County Maryland in the form of a $780,000 direct loan and $330,000 grant.

“I have said from the beginning that if a stimulus package was going to work to get our economy back on track it would need to focus on rebuilding and revitalizing our rural infrastructure in places like Kent County,” said Rep. Frank Kratovil. “What these funds will do is provide reliable drinking water and sanitary waste disposal all while protecting the infrastructure and creating jobs.”

The rural facilities funding are part of $54 million in community facilities projects that are being funded immediately with federal funds that are being provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Of the total, a $21,000 grant will be directed toward the Neck District Volunteer fire company in Cambridge, MD, the Parsonsburg Volunteer Fire Department will receive a $50,000 grant and the Wicomico county Fire Police Association will be awarded an $18,887 grant.

“These grants show a commitment to making our communities better. They will go toward essential services that provide for the safety of our citizens as well as revitalizing many of the building that serve as focal points of many small rural communities,” said Rep. Kratovil. “Through the stimulus we are creating jobs and improving services right here on the Eastern Shore in real time.”
