I bet that you haven’t heard that terminology before: poll pushing. By definition, poll pushing is:

Push Poll: technique in which an individual or organization attempts to influence or alter the view of respondents under the guise of conducting a poll.

Just another ploy by the mainstream media - in this case NBC – to skew the numbers in reference to the comatose Obamacare health care bill, due up for a vote in Congress in either September or October.

Here’s the breakdown of how this “push polling” came to fruition.  This morning on NBC’s Today Show, NBC News Political Director/Chief White House correspondent Chuck Todd reported on a NBC News poll that reflected on the fact that according to him, many Americans continue to believe the myth that is Obamacare.

Bet you’re wondering what are these myths (lies about Obamacare) that NBC busted?  Stuff such as:

Will give the government the power to cut off care for elderly.

Given that PBO questioned the wisdom of giving his own grandmother a hip replacement, why shouldn’t Americans wonder about how the elderly will be treated?

Will pay for abortions.

CNSNews.com has reported that “Democrats in both the House and the Senate want abortion be included as a health benefit in both government and private insurance plans.”

Will provide health insurance to illegal immigrants.

Given the restrictions Dems across the country have placed on immigration enforcement, does anyone seriously doubt that many illegals will sneak into ObamaCare?

See, the thing here is that by and large, the mainstream media is sleeping with Obama.  And in NBC’s case, they’re skewing poll numbers in order to push policy, not report news as they’re supposed to do.
