<description>Is Germany the exception to the rule? Many countries are looking at reducing their level of commitment in Afghanistan. Is America&#039;s ambiguity over the Afghan mission negatively impacting international support? Can success be achieved is the United States is going it alone?

Here is an updated Google map showing all troop levels in Afghanistan (US/International), with brief mission statements, and reported causalities. It will be interesting to see how these numbers change as the White House struggles to come up with a new policy.
