December 31, 2009 (San Antonio, Texas): On Wednesday, Will Hurd filed an application with the Republican Party of Texas to be placed on the ballot for the primary occurring March 2nd, 2010.

“Time and again, voters in the 23rd shared with me that they were troubled by Washington’s inability or unwillingness to control runaway spending, protect our country or support the business owners and entrepreneurs that fuel our economy,” Hurd stated on Wednesday.  “The entire district deserves better.  The voters deserve a representative that shares their values and isn’t afraid to defend them.”
