Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK) explains why he’s leading a “truth squad” to the Copenhagen global warming summit.

I will assume that the vast majority of you out there don’t watch CNBC; but for those misguided souls who do, then you may have caught “The Kudlow Report” on that lamestream channel on Tuesday (November 24). Long story short, fill-in host Simon Hobbs (Simon who? Exactly!) did his best to interrupt guest Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) as both were discussing the emails that were unveiled after a hacker accessed the files over at the Climate Research Unit at University of Anglia in the U.K.

I’m not going to ruin a perfectly good segment here, so tune in to the above video. You’ll thank me later.

No folks, this is not a piece about the circus, although I can see in reference.  Actually this is about Senator Jim Inhofe from Oklahoma, and to a lesser degree, newly elected senator from Minnesota Al Franken.

Inhofe is a major player in the proposed investigation of a report that has been alleged held under wraps by the Environmental Protection Agency.  The report in question involves the validity into whether global warming does in fact exist.  The EPA apparently did not like the report as it defies their way of thinking on global warming matters.

But nonetheless, despite Inhofe saying that an investigation should take place, he at the same time stated that he isn’t qualified to make that determination.  That aside, Inhofe is still sticking by his prediction that the climate change bill that was recently passed in the House and now in the Senate will be “dead in the water”.

I will again go on the record here – for the umpteenth time it seems – and say that global warming is a myth as data that’s available proves that actual temperatures have actually dropped, not increased.  And the last time I checked, dropping temperatures do not lend themselves to qualifying as “global warming”.  I predict right now that support for the bill from both Republicans and Democrats will increase; and as a result, the bill will – as Inhofe aptly stated – will indeed be “dead in the water”.

Incidentally, where does Al Franken fit into all of this?  According to Inhofe, Franken is a target insofar as garnering support for the demise of this climate change bill.  And it must be noted that Inhofe referred to Franken as that “clown from Minnesota”.  Apparently, Inhofe, like myself, do not take this senatorial lightweight too seriously.  Just seriously enough to hope that the Republicans and sane Democrats make Franken see the light.
