Thoughts On “Four Lebanese Indicted in Premier’s Killing”
It takes time to build an airtight case, especially when the perpetrators are in power in government and have tens of thousands of supporters, all of whom can be rallied to pressure those directly involved to clam up, and to create indirect pressure.
Secondly, the efforts of the Court are apparently being coordinated with political action against all of Iran’s proxy operators in the Middle East. This ‘Arab Spring’ is a fortuitous concidence (if not precipitated or at least prepared for by the CIA) to strike against Iranian interests on several fronts simultaneously; Hamas in Gaza, Hezbolla in Lebanon, and in Syria the West would like to court Bashir because he neighbors Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Israel and is the biggest market potential and player with the biggest army.
The indictment is just one weapon to be used against iranian interests; you don’t use one weapon at a time to address a multi-headed ‘snake’; you coordinate to go for all at once, otherwise they can re-group and reinforce one another. E.g. Iran traverses the Suez Canal with warships to demonstrate its military reach and delivers armaments to a Syrian port to tranship to Gaza which get intercepted by Israel. In the meantime rather stupid and naive civilians try to breach the Gaza blockade acting as unwitting but willing PR proxy’s.for Iran.
If the dead Lebanese President weren’t such a big wheel in the constructoin industry worldwide, if he were not a Christian, and Iran’s proxy operators were not involved, no one would be indicted because no one would care..
The indictment is being used as a political tool against Hezbolla as we all suspect their leadership is directly involved – Imam Nasrallah, their spiritual leader probably endorsed and sanctioned the assassination. We’ll know in thirty days. Stay tuned, same channel ME.
